About Billwise

Billwise is an invoice generator for freelancers and contractors. It helps you create invoices with sender and client details, services, working days, hourly or daily rates, fixed services, payment details, and PDF export.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of every invoice you create. Before sending an invoice, review the client details, service descriptions, timesheet entries, rates, totals, currency, payment terms, payment instructions, tax treatment, and any legal requirements that apply to your work.

No accounting or tax advice

Billwise is a document and workflow tool. It is not accounting software, tax advice, legal advice, or a substitute for a qualified professional. You should confirm local invoice, tax, and recordkeeping requirements yourself.

Accounts and saved invoices

The public generator can be used without an account. If you create an account and save invoices to your dashboard, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for the invoice data stored in your account.

Acceptable use

You may not use Billwise to create fraudulent, misleading, illegal, harmful, or abusive documents, to interfere with the service, to attempt unauthorized access, or to upload content that you do not have the right to use.

Availability and changes

Billwise may change, pause, or remove features as the product evolves. The service is provided on an as-available basis, and PDF output, calculations, account features, and integrations may change over time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Billwise is not liable for business losses, incorrect invoices, missed payments, tax issues, data entered by users, or decisions made based on generated invoices. Always review your invoice before sending it.
