Billwise is a freelancer invoice generator. This policy explains what information is used when you create invoices, export PDFs, save invoices to an account, or contact support.

Billwise lets you enter sender details, client details, invoice numbers and dates, services, timesheet entries, rates, currencies, payment terms, payment method details, and an optional logo. You control what you add to an invoice.
The public generator saves your current invoice draft in your browser so you do not lose work after refreshing the page. This local draft stays on the browser and device you used unless you clear browser storage or reset the draft.
When you export a PDF, your invoice payload is sent to Billwise so the server can validate it and return the generated PDF file. The export request may include the invoice details, payment details, services, timesheet data, language choice, and logo data that you included.
You can create invoices without signup. If you register and save invoices to your dashboard, Billwise stores the invoice data connected to your account so you can view, update the status of, or delete saved invoices later.
Billwise may use Google Analytics when it is configured for the site. Standard server logs and analytics tools may process technical data such as page views, browser information, device information, approximate location, referring pages, and timestamps.
If you email Billwise, your email address and message content are used to read, route, and respond to your request. For support, feedback, privacy questions, or deletion requests, contact info@billwise.dev.
You can use the generator without an account, clear browser storage to remove local drafts, avoid entering unnecessary personal information, delete saved invoices from your dashboard, and contact Billwise to ask about account or data deletion.
Billwise uses application validation and standard web security controls to protect the service. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so review invoice and payment details carefully before sending them to a client.
